How It All Started
In 1919, Morris Troper and Simon Loeb started an accounting firm at 114 Fifth Avenue. Early clients were major New York-based philanthropies, reflecting the lifelong interest of both founders in philanthropic causes. The firm has built an impressive roster of clients in the not-for-profit area, and also has rapidly emerged as an industry expert in audit and consulting services to health care organizations.
