Joseph Blatt is responsible for providing audit services to a full spectrum of not-for-profit and health care organizations, including private and chartered schools, colleges, nursing homes, fund-raising organizations, social service agencies, low-income housing, drug rehabilitation, pension plans, cultural and religious institutions.
Joe is a highly regarded expert in the area of audit and accounting issues for private schools. He works closely with business managers, head masters and trustees in guiding them through a full spectrum of governance issues.
In addition to his audit practice, Joe also works with clients on various managerial and consulting roles including:

•Development of accounting policy and procedure manuals
•Management problem solving
•Board advisor
Joe is a frequent industry speaker. Recent and upcoming sessions include: New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association for Independent Schools (NAIS), the Council of Literary Magazines and Presses (CLMP) and the National Association for Independent School Business Officers (NBOA), among others.
Joe joined the firm in 1986 after receiving a B.A. degree from Queens College of the City of New York. He is licensed to practice in both New York State and New Jersey.
