Allan Blum is responsible for providing audit services to a full spectrum of not-for-profit organizations, including health care organizations, fund-raising organizations, social service agencies, special needs providers and religious institutions. His in-depth programmatic knowledge makes him a key resource regarding operational and reimbursement issues.
Highly regarded by practitioners and industry leaders, Allan serves as the audit partner at several prestigious associations including the New York State Society of CPAs and the New York Association of Homes and Services for the Aging. Allan is also the immediate former chair of the Not-for-Profit Committee of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Allan is a highly sought-after speaker. He is a frequent lecturer for the Foundation for Accounting Education of the NYSSCPA; he speaks at key industry associations, board meetings and firm conferences.
Allan joined the firm in 1989 immediately after receiving his degree from Queens College of the City of New York. He currently co-chairs the firm’s Quality Assurance committee.
