Virginia Maar is a Principal with Loeb & Troper and has significant experience in all aspects of the health care provider industry. Ms. Maar has an extensive background in the development and implementation of new programs for virtually all health care sectors, including hospitals, continuing care facilities, home care agencies and ambulatory and other community- based organizations.
Among the specific areas of consultative services provided by Ms. Maar and her staff to Loeb & Troper's diverse health care clients are strategic business analyses and business development; managed care planning; delivery system evaluation and design, including assisting clients with their diversification efforts; joint venture and network development and needs assessment; planning and design of senior housing programs and renovation/replacement facilities.
Included among Ms. Maar's memberships are the New York Association of Homes and Services for the Aged Assisted Living Task Force, the New York State Department of Health's Subcommittee for Architectural Code Reform, the State Office for the Aging Work Group for the Development of Standards for Social Adult Day Health Care (for which she served as co-Chairwoman), the Office of Health Systems Management Task Force on Adult Day Care, and the New York Society for Health Planning. Ms. Maar is also a well-known lecturer on a wide variety of topics related to the health care industry.
